Although Jamie and myself only spent a week or so in Laos we thoroughly enjoyed our time strolling the dusty streets of Vientiane, visiting the many wonderful temples and relaxing in the very and beautiful rural Vang Vieng.

Before arriving at Laos, I emailed family to let them know that I was unlikely to be able to contact them during my time there. How wrong I was as even in Vang Vieng we were inundated with copious amounts of internet cafes which admittedly was a little disappointing.
