Sailing on the Solent - September 2003

Mark, a good friend from Merlin kindly invited Michelle and myself on a trip aboard SV Dolphin, his wonderful sailing yacht. Mark provided the sailing skills whilst young Katie, Mark's five year old daughter, provided the entertainment (or was it us entertaining her?). 

Anyway, it was a beautiful September weekend and the only thing we lacked was a decent amount of wind. Still, we managed to sail at least part way from Southampton to Yarmouth (Isle of Wight) where we stopped for beer, food and a night's sleep on the boat before journeying back.
