Easter this year brought to Hockley Ingrid and the 'terrible two' from the
Isle of Man. Jason would have come along too, but for the fact that Ingrid
had set him a DIY mission, to be completed by her return! Luckily for
Jason, he managed to complete it in time, and Drewy was able to return to
a brand new bedroom.
Easter
Sunday saw much of the action, with Kath, Pat and Sue & John joining
in the Fun. Sue & John brought round a toy furry jumping creature that
sings and jumps around when you drop him on the floor. Unfortunately he
was dropped from a little too high on a floor a little too hard and he
lost his voice. Fortunately he recovered shortly afterwards.
Dodging
the raindrops, we endeavoured to play a game of rounders in the back
garden. Jordan's dubious rules seemed to change on a regular basis and it
all got a little bit hairy towards the end but but a good time was definitely
had by all. The lump on Jordan's head has since subsided and I think
Kath's toes (that were squeezed into mum's tiny size 3 boots) survived to
tell the tale!
