Drew Christian Fleming was christened at Battlesbridge Free
Church on Sunday 2nd September 2001. Godparents included yours truly,
Michelle and Mark (Jason's brother-in-law) who was stood in for by Keith.
Drew took it all in his stride but Jordan apparently didn't enjoy the
hymns very much spending much of the service with her hands over her ears.
Actually it was more likely to have been Kath's singing that did it!
Ingrid
and Jason were over from the Isle of Man for about 10 days and spent
Sunday of the first weekend at Kath and Pat's pad where we all enjoyed at bit
of grub and beer, including Drew the baby beer Monster! Auntie Kath took a
break from her daily strenuous trampoline workout to give Jordan and Drew
a go. Other events included the peg game which involved placing as many
pegs on peoples' back without them noticing. Kath got a little concerned
towards the end and body-searched everyone before they left.
